Abbey Pomeroy
I am a fourth year Occupational Therapy student, with that I bring four years of support work experience and two years of experience as an Allied Health Assistant. Throughout my studies and multiple clinical placements, I’ve developed a strong passion for client centred practice and supporting people of all abilities to build confidence, independence, and everyday life skills. This work is more than just a job to me, it’s something I genuinely care about. The QVARI way truly resonates with me and reflects how I believe support should be delivered.
What I love most about my role is being part of each client’s journey. Whether it’s a small win or a big milestone, seeing someone achieve something they once found difficult is incredibly rewarding. I enjoy building positive, supportive relationships with clients and families, and working closely with therapists to make sessions engaging, encouraging, and tailored to each person’s goals and personality.
Being part of QVARI means being part of a team that truly values collaboration, quality care, and putting people first. I’m proud to work in an environment where everyone supports one another and where clients feel welcomed, understood, and celebrated.
